This one, is one  of my favorite books. It has passion, love, war.. The two men of her life are Napoleon Bonaparte, the great ambitional general who is more in love with his plans for France than with her and theother  one is Jean Battiste Bernadotte who is the founder of the Sweden dynasty. Jean Battiste has confidence in himself, he knows what he wants and he knows how to get it. From Paris, to Anovero and from there to Marienburg, little Desiree came to Stocholm and became Queen of the throne. After she changed her name to Desideria.  With love her only guide, helped her people. She was named Lady of peace.

We read a love story both profound and endearing as Desiree take a part in world history and plays a role she could never imagine she would have.

I suggest you to read it, it will take your breath away..
